here we have a superb condition ambassadeur xlt 2 reel, not just the usual xlt2 but the synchro version.A fantastic piece of kit with many excellent features. the first of which is the synchro gears, easy to use and set up, set the star drag to desired tension whilst holding your thumb on spool, then should a big fish take the bait and the strain become too much simply turn the handle back 1/4 turn and the drag is reduced by up to 75% ...moce the handle forward and the drag is reset...its that easy...The second feature is the legendary magnetic braking system, simple to adjust again 10 settings to maintain smooth casting despite the conditions.And last this being the xlt version the spool is easily removed from the reel with a click and a twist, nice for spool exchange whilst tournament casting to pop on another spool with a different gauge of monafilament.On the subject of tournament casting, these reels are favoured by tournament casters for their very smooth running and high speeds with the correct bearings and a CT style conversion.Coming boxed with papers oil and spanner ...
