this is a very special cage, not just a 6500 ct cage, but the 1970's vintage bevel edged sideplate 6500 ct that are now becoming very,very rare indeed.

the cage (reel foot number 760401) is the genuine article, as used on the 6500ct reel pictured on the homepage of this website, which was recently sold for £175....a serious collectors reel you will agree.

i would like to think that this cage would be sold to a genuine buyer, as there are a few fake ones about im sure...

anyway, this particular cage is in pretty good order with a few marks on the chrome and a slight brassing on the bottom as seen in the picture but generally very good condition.
