Ultra rare abu ambassadeur 6500A....

To find a boxed unused 1980's ambassadeur 6500A is a rare thing these days.Most have either been used and knocked about or have been locked away in someones display cabinet, so to find one is a real treat.

 But to find one of these with the line out ratchet on, your looking at very rare reel. Unmarked and unfished , this ambassadeur is very much like my other 6500A but this version here has the black cage and the line out alarm fitted making it quite special.

The foot number is 839400, a superb version of the palming design baitcast reel from abu, and in my mind one of the last great reels of the 80's . As i say i have a red cage version of the 6500A and so this one is surplus and is now offered for sale. The price reflects its rarity, and to be honest if it doesn't sell i won't lose any sleep as it is a stunning reel and i doubt i will ever own another one. But im willing to let her go to another collector who will be able to appreciate this reel as much as i have.
