Penn SUPER 525 mag reel....

brand new, immaculate unused and boxed....

here we have a Penn Super 525 mag reel,

now i know it doesn't say "super" on the reel, but this was one of the first , built in U.S.A. versions and is identified by the gold handle, and the extra 2 magnets fitted below the middle 2 magnets. The later "super" mags had a silver handle and the 2 mags were fitted above with the other four i believe.Also these reels were fitted with abec 5 bearings and lubed with red rocket oil. Anyway, whatever the name these penn mags are just superb reels for fishing with.I use one myself, along with a penn 515 mag and they are just fantastic.Excellent distance casting reels, easily adjusted magnetic control, and the biggest and strongest of brass gearing, that can handle most fish in and around the coast here. This reel comes complete with a brand new power handle thrown in for free.I fitted one to one of my penn 525's and it feels very comfy when retrieving your tackle, (not that there is a problem with the original, but a bit of bling doesnt harm...)
