abu ambassadeur 7000.....

here we have a very nice abu ambassadeur 7000,

this really is a gem of a reel, having seen very little use in its life, the foot number is 740500 so its done very well in the last 36 years and i doubt its been used more than a handful of times.The reel comes with its original card box though it has a few ends missing,but does have its styrene case with its accesories neatly fitted inside, also with the reel comes the brown pouch draw string bag in mint condition.The reel itself has very light marks to the tops of the rims as shown in picture 9 , but other than that the reel remains unmarked save for a bit of paint loss on the handle.As you would expect the reel functions now just the way it left sweden all those years ago and is surely good for another 30 years angling if looked after as it already has been.A classic reel in very good original order becoming rare and probably an investment for the buyer.Should you feel the need to buy a bit more nastalgia i have a similar condition abu 484 casting rod from what i believe to be 1972,so the same era, wow, what a combination that would be ? .
