Swedish built Abu Ambassadeur 6500blue elite...

This was, and still is the beach casting multiplier. Capable of great distances running very fas tand smooth its a delight to cast and fish with. This model however has obviously been used on more than one occasion, and may have missed a wash or two. Anyhoo, despite this, a quick strip down,clean and oil has revived it somewhat to a fast spinning casting reel again. Despite its none standard upgrade, (drainage hole in left sideplate, don't know why abu didn't think about this the water has to get out somewhere right ?) the reel is still a reel well capable of many more outings and should give another angler the chance to experience the delights of one of Swedens finest ...i should also point out that the handle nut does not have its retaining plate and screw present as the old one had to be drilled out, i can vouch for the nut being quite tight now and would be quite impressed if it should come undone during normal fishing conditions...
