Here i have a very nice example of the classic 1980's multiplier reel. A super little reel for a spot of spinning or plugging, these Swedish built reels are lightweight,coming in at just 250gm's, the spool weighs as little as an ordinary letter and helped by the fully enclosed ball bearings can accelerate from 0-28,000 revs in half a sec..pretty impressive. The gear ratio is 4.7:1 so return is fairly swift and line retrieve is 50cm's per turn of the handle.

Perhaps a god reel for the tornament ,field caster due to its small size. Whatever its intended use these reel is in good shape for its age, and has suffered only very light marks to its aluminium sideplates.
