Here we have an early 1970's big "A" Ambassadeur 7000, with he rarer chrome reel foot.

In good used condition the reel will be fit for many more years angling if looked after and serviced well. Although having a few scrapes around the edges of the plates it has no holes or dints and is by no means a rough reel. Very useable, these great sized reels are still sought after by anglers the world over due to their strong construction and quality parts. Tough brass gearing keep things turning smooth casting spool,holding 325yds of 17lb line, so enough for surf fishing and out in the boat too. Levelwind keeps an even lay of line on your spool and tight drag keeps things coming in. In all a great reel that can still show some of these modern day reels a thing or too....
