offered for sale here is a lovely example of the classic casting reel , the ambassadeur 6500 c special.

In very good order , with box and papers this reel has had little use. The only wear it shows is a slight mark to the left sideplate just below the bottom screw picture 2 , and slight wear to the chrome on the top bar of the cage, and a few rubs where the reel has been tight in a reel fitting on a rod. Other than that its in superb order and would show well in a cabinet or would make a splendid casting reel, either over grass or fishing. The 6500 c reel is renowned for being a brilliant fishing reel, and these 6500c specials just got better. Finished in lovely silver grey sideplates, older ribbed design, double paddle chrome power handle, tough brass gears, strong drag and levelwind. In all a lovely reel that do not come around too often.
